Licensed in 1995, Carla Lord began working with a famliy - owned business in Orlando, specializing in the sale of historic homes and property management. Carla gained valuable experience in managing planned unit developments(PUDS) and commercial buildings.

In 2012 Carla obtained a Broker's license and joined a prominent brokerage firm in Ocala with a focus on farms and acreage. Building on this experience. Carla embarked on a new venture and co-founded a successful real estate company. Continuing her commitment to the real estate industry, Carla also served as a Broker for an existing firm, and siezed the opportunity to purchase Ocala Homes and Farms Realty.

Carla has served on the local real estate board, Ocala Marion County Association of Realtors as committee chair for professional standards, farm marketing and RPAC. Carla has also served as past president for Ocala Multiple Listing Service and is the current Vice President for Ocala Marion Association of Realtors.
