North Central Florida has always been home to me. I still live on the hay and cattle farm I grew up on where agriculture played a large role in shaping my work ethic and values. After graduating from Williston High School, I knew I wanted to serve my community in a greater capacity.

I attended Santa Fe College, earning an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and later graduated from the Santa Fe College Police Academy. Shortly after completing the academy, I began my law enforcement career with the University of Florida Police Department. Over the course of 30 years, I proudly served the university community, rising to the rank of Captain before retiring in 2017. During my time at the University of Florida, I also earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from the College of Journalism.

Following my retirement, I began working as an adjunct instructor with the Louisiana State University, traveling across the United States and U.S. territories delivering training to first responders in law enforcement, fire services, and emergency medical services. While I continue to provide training through LSU, I also wanted to challenge myself in a new way by helping others navigate the real estate process.
