My wife and I recently purchased a home through a realtor named Joyce Thompson. We could not be happier with our experience with her! We lived in Venice, Florida and have never been to the Ocala area. We knew nothing about the homes, neighborhoods, or the entire area. We did not know how to go about looking at and obtaining a new home in Ocala, So from the very start with our interest in homes in the area, Joyce was right there to answer our questions and guide us through this process. We told her what we were looking for, and she found several homes for us to look at. At first, every home we were interested in, we were outbid on. Then we found one that we really liked, put in our bid, and it was accepted. We finally got the house that was perfect for us!

Through every step of the process, putting in our bid, getting it accepted, working with the seller's agent and our loan agency, Joyce was there, giving them information, asking questions and getting answers for us. She answered all our emails, texts and phone calls promptly, and quickly answered any questions we had. She was very good at letting us know what was going on with every process in buying the house. She also knows a lot of people in the area, giving us referrals for a lot of different things associated with the house and our neighborhood. She worked with the HOA in our subdivision to get us accepted into the neighborhood. She gave us the name of a landscape service that we could use. She told us about the neighborhood, where the grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc. were located by our home. We needed certain times and days for our closing and Joyce worked with the closing agents to get it done for us when we wanted. She was there for the closing and gave us housewarming gifts to make us feel welcome in our new home. She was there from step one to the very end, constantly working on our behalf.

We could not have asked for a more personable, wonderful woman to go through this process with us. She was there to give us the keys the day we brought the moving truck, to make sure we were ready to settle into our new home. She even offered to come back the next day and help us unload the truck and unpack our things!! Joyce continued to check up on us to make sure that everything was going OK once we were moved into our home. My sister is a relator in Ohio and I would trust Joyce to sell a home in Florida to my own mother! We would highly highly recommend Joyce to anyone who is interested in purchasing a home in the Ocala area.

Our overall experience with her was one that we would want anyone else to have when going through the process of buying a house; she really made it a pleasant experience for us!
