Lot has expansive views. When you are at this lot, you feel like you are in "OLD Florida", yet you are just 1.6 miles down Mason Creek Road towards the Gulf from Restaurants and the activity of Homosassa. It is doubtful there will ever be a new home built when looking out across the incredible pristine wilderness view from the rear of your new home. This lot allows direct access to the Gulf without having to deal with the extremely long idle zones on the Homosassa River. There is a public boat ramp at the end of Mason Creek Road. There is a reason many fishing guides use this boat ramp. It is perhaps the closest and the quickest location you can use to get to the Gulf. If you want to spend a large part of every boating day, which could be well over a hour, idling on the Homosassa River, then this is NOT the location for you. Please note, you can take Mason Creek to the Homosassa River for the occasional time you wish to go to the river. We all believe the Homosassa River is wonderful, it just gets old using up so much of a given day idling, as well it gets hot, very hot in a boat barely moving. This lot is approximately an acre which should allow you the room to build a home with room to comfortably accommodate your family and friends, plus room for the toys that will add to your wilderness / outdoor enjoyment. It is the outdoors and exploring Nature that most people choose this area which also happens to be less than a one hour drive (with almost no traffic lights) to the Best Airport in the Country. There is Public Water to the site. Please see picture of water pipe locators and fire hydrants. Neighborhood has very wide well maintained paved streets with gutters and storm water inlets. Lot is more expensive than some because utilities are in place here that many other lots will likely NEVER have. Dock is allowed, but it is my understanding that a dock permit will not be issued until a home is built. Buyer will be given time to confirm the prior statement and so you can insure the lot is PERFECT for your new home.
